Bump Ring

In the late 1400s, snuff tobacco was used in the form of a pipe (shown in the photo above) to inhale through the nose. The practice of taking snuff tobacco became popular initially in England in the 17th century and by the 18th century, it became widespread throughout the world. Snuff tobacco became the product of choice among the elite, an expensive luxury commodity. 

Our Bump Ring has recreated and modernized the former methods of inhaling snuff tobacco. Our design is unique, as the ring bumps out into a spoon to inhale the  tobacco. While snuff tobacco is often sniffed or inhaled by placing it onto the back surface of the hand, today, "snuffing" devices have become more efficient.
